COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 2-day anatomy laboratory "hands-on" course is designed for clinicians. Participants will review important anatomical structures in the context of clinical conditions related to the upper & lower extremity and spine.

The course will focus on laboratory/group work and self exploration modules consisting of prosected cadaver specimens of the human body and study of the appropriate osteology, radiology and surface anatomy. You are not required to be an anatomy guru to attend this course - this course is intended to review and improve our anatomy knowledge and apply it to our clinical reasoning skills and practice.

Dr. Anne Agur

* Professor Agur completed her M.Sc. and later a PhD degree in anatomy at the University of Toronto. She teaches Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy and Embryology. Anne is course director of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Gross Anatomy courses and also contributes to the anatomy course in the Structure and Function block and the Neuroanatomy course of the Brain and Behaviour block of first year medicine. She is the current editor of "Grant’s Atlas of Anatomy" and a co-author of "Essential Clinical Anatomy" with Professor Emeritus K.L. Moore. Her research interests include skeletal muscle form and function, clinically applied Neuroanatomy, and Anatomy education.Email: dyardley@pthealth.ca
